The FC Bayern squad for the Beckenbauer Cup is confirmed! As part of the club’s 125th anniversary celebrations, Bayern will be hosting a one-off legends tournament in honour of its late honorary president on 17 March 2025. Alongside the FC Bayern Legends, the legends teams of Real Madrid, AC Milan Glorie, Ajax, Borussia Dortmund and VfB Stuttgart complete the field at the sold-out SAP Garden.

The FC Bayern Legends team will be managed by former FCB captain Philipp Lahm. On his team are Arjen Robben, Franck Ribéry, Lothar Matthäus, Mark van Bommel, Mario Mandžukić, Rafinha, Tom Starke, Hans Jörg Butt, Sebastian Rudy, Klaus Augenthaler, Thomas Linke, Giovane Élber, Claudio Pizarro, Diego Contento, Holger Badstuber, Paulo Sérgio, Raimond Aumann, Roy Makaay and Stefan Effenberg.
Casillas, Pepe, Dida, Barrios, Babel & Co
The spectators can also look forward to international stars such as Madrid's Iker Casillas and Pepe, Milan's Dida and Riccardo Montolivo, Ajax's Ryan Babel and Maarten Stekelenburg, Dortmund's Lucas Barrios and Mladen Petrić as well as former Germany internationals Kevin Kuranyi and Timo Hildebrand from Stuttgart.
The format
The indoor tournament, which kicks off from 18:30 CET on Monday, will see the six teams compete in five-a-side contests. Bayern, Real and Ajax are in Group A, while AC Milan Glorie, Dortmund and Stuttgart find themselves in Group B. The top two from each group go through to the semi-finals, followed by the third-place match and the grand final.
