A total of 26 FC Bayern players are currently out on loan at various clubs across Europe to gain match practice and further their individual development. In Loan Watch, fcbayern.com provides regular updates with a look at the progress and performance of selected loan players. Mathys Tel, Nestory Irankunda, Maurice Krattenmacher, Ritzy Hülsmann and Benedikt Wimmer were particularly impressive in the last week.
Tel: Two appearances, one win

Mathys Tel and Tottenham Hotspur have experienced a week of highs and lows: After last Thursday's 1-0 second leg win against Eintracht Frankfurt, the English side are through to the semi-finals of the Europa League. In the domestic league, however, things didn't quite go to plan, with a 2-1 loss to Nottingham Forest on Matchday 33. The French FCB loanee started both games (79 minutes and 90 minutes) and put in an impressive performance against Forest, particularly in the first half. Tel has been getting better and better since his move to the UK in the winter.
Nestory Irankunda: Full 90 minutes in the Swiss Super League

Nestory Irankunda has completed his second full game: At home to Winterthur, the 19-year-old winger, who has been at Grasshoppers on loan from FC Bayern since January, played the full 90 minutes in the Swiss Super League match. The Australia international has caught the eye with four assists to date and was recently voted ‘Player of the Month’ by the fans. Irankunda was again the focal point against Winterthur when his 80th-minute goal-bound effort struck a hand and resulted in a penalty. However, Matteo Di Giusto failed to convert and the Zurich side lost 1-0.
Maurice Krattenmacher: Assist vs. Hertha

Maurice Krattenmacher is continuing to make his mark in attack in Bundesliga 2: In SSV Ulm's home game against Hertha BSC, the 19-year-old centre-forward set up the opener in the 10th minute - his eighth assist of the season. After taking the lead, however, Ulm failed to build on it and found themselves 2-1 down just after the break. Although they did manage to equalise, the Sparrows were ultimately beaten 3-2. Krattenmacher was substituted in the 83rd minute. SSV Ulm are currently second-bottom of the table and are still battling to stay in the second tier.
Ritzy Hülsmann: Winner in clash with rivals

SKN St. Pölten and keeper Ritzy Hülsmann have bounced back from their recent slump in form: After two straight defeats, the South Austrian side won a spectacular affair 4-2 at closest rivals Liefering. Hülsmann, who has already kept a clean sheet in 11 of 22 games had no chance of preventing the two goals. The win means St. Pölten move up to fifth place in the Austrian second division.
Benedikt Wimmer: Big step towards securing safety

Wuppertal's great run of form continues: Head coach Sebastian Tyrala's team once again emerged victorious in the matchday's standout fixture against the third-placed Borussia Mönchengladbach reserves (2-1). Prior to that, centre-back Benedikt Wimmer, who played the full 90 minutes for the tenth game in a row, had already won the two clashes against 1. FC Düren and the 1. FC Köln reserves with his club. Wuppertal could come very close to securing their place in the Regionalliga West on the next matchday with another win against KFC Uerdingen.
