FC Bayern joins the German football family in mourning Werner Lorant, long-time coach of TSV 1860 Munich. Our sympathy goes out to his family and loved ones.
Lorant died at the age of 76 following a long illness. The former Bundesliga player, who played for the likes of Eintracht Frankfurt and Rot-Weiß Essen, coached the Munich Lions from 1992 to 2001. The derbies from this period at the Olympiastadion are unforgettable.
