FC Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund on the 2025 Dream Match: “I’m delighted our pro squad will travel to Austria, my home country, to stage the 2025 Dream Match against fan club ‘Red Eagles Austria’ this summer. The Dream Match has a great tradition at FC Bayern. It marks the club out that it always upholds such traditions, which connect it with its fans in a special way, and fills them with life.”
The active fan club was founded in 2017 and is led by chairman Robert Schweighofer. The 2025 Dream Match will be accompanied by a supporting programme and staged at Gurgltalstadion, Velly Arena Tyrol, in Imst. The fan club is familiar with FC Bayern events as former player David Alaba visited his compatriots as part of the 2018 fan club visits. Another highlight will follow for the loyal FCB fans this year.
