To mark the club's 125th anniversary, FC Bayern has opened a pop-up store in the Chinese harbour city of Qingdao for the first time – sending out a very special signal of international solidarity.

From 30 April to 8 June, fans can experience the German record champions up close in a unique setting. In the historic ‘1907 Light & Shadow’ building, whose history goes back over 120 years, the tradition of the club merges with the past of the city, which has historically close ties to Germany.

An experience for fans of all ages
The pop-up store is much more than just a place to shop – it’s become an interactive world of experience. There’s a wide selection of merchandise to discover, including the exclusive 125th anniversary collection, the new away jersey for the coming season and many classics.

Special highlights in store
- A replica of Thomas Müller’s childhood bed
- An interactive photo set with the anniversary jersey - just like the pros

Unforgettable events in the heart of Qingdao
On 3 May, more than 60 fans watched the FC Bayern match against RB Leipzig at a public viewing in the store in an informal atmosphere. Another highlight: on 18 May, the club welcomed its fans to an exclusive meet & greet with FCB legend Diego Contento. Around 150 guests took the opportunity for a personal chat and a souvenir photo.
Strong presence – including in the media
Supported by an online and offline campaign with Alipay, the store also attracted attention beyond the city limits. More than ten local media outlets reported on the special project, and three popular Chinese influencers shared their impressions with their followers on social media – a strong sign of the reach and enthusiasm that FC Bayern is generating worldwide.

A hit for fans and club
With its first pop-up store in Qingdao, FC Bayern has written another successful chapter in international fan culture – and once again shown that the club inspires fans far beyond the borders of Europe. The club would like to thank all fans, partners and helpers on site.
