Bring on the new season! The FC Bayern players started their preparations for the 2025/26 season on Tuesday with the mandatory medical tests and performance diagnostics. Before they take to the training pitch at Säbener Straße on Wednesday, Harry Kane, Manuel Neuer and Co. underwent radiological and cardiological examinations at Munich's Barmherzige Brüder hospital. Lung function and blood tests were also carried out.
The FCB players then continued their performance diagnostics at Säbener Straße, completing various tests for stamina, reaction and agility in the performance centre.
In the two-and-a-half weeks of pre-season preparations leading up to the first competitive match, the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup at VfB Stuttgart on 16 August, Bayern's aim is to lay the foundations for a successful season. Among other things, the German record champions will play three friendlies against Lyon (2 August), Tottenham Hotspur (7 August) and Grasshopper Club Zürich (12 August).
