FC Bayern München has expanded its management team with the appointment of Rouven Kasper as board member for marketing and sales. The 43-year-old sports economist, previously a member of the board at VfB Stuttgart, will take up his post on 1 January 2026. Kasper began his career at global marketing agency Sportfive, where he held various positions. In 2016, he joined FC Bayern, where he was responsible for Asia-Pacific activities as President Asia until 2021.
Herbert Hainer, FC Bayern president and chairman of the supervisory board: “We are delighted to welcome such a strong addition with international experience in a strategically important area. The supervisory board believes that Rouven Kasper is the right choice, both professionally and personally, to help us achieve FC Bayern's ambitious goals in the areas of marketing and sales, especially as he already knows our club very well. I would like to express my sincere thanks to my colleague Dietmar Allgaier, president and chairman of the supervisory board of VfB Stuttgart, for the constructive and trusting discussions we had.”

Rouven Kasper: “I would like to express my sincere thanks for the trust and productive dialogue with the supervisory board over the past few weeks. I am now very much looking forward to working with my colleagues on the executive board and the entire team. Our common goal is to work tirelessly on the further development of FC Bayern, and I want to contribute to this. This great job is both an honour and an incentive for me. As a team, with reliability and ambition, we must continue to increase our appeal as a top global club with Bavarian roots and, at the same time, lay the foundations for a successful sporting future for FC Bayern through economic growth.”
