FC Bayern and Allianz make statement for breast cancer awareness

FC Bayern and its long-standing partner Allianz are once again joining forces in 2025 to raise awareness of breast cancer prevention, thereby sending an important social message. As part of the initiative, which was launched in 2023, the Allianz Arena will once again be illuminated in pink on Saturday evening. This October, the men's and women's teams will also wear special jerseys in two matches to raise awareness of International Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 

Herbert Hainer, FC Bayern president: “FC Bayern is committed to working with our partner Allianz to once again promote prevention, exercise and screening in relation to breast cancer. Team spirit is important in sport, and this also applies to the fight against breast cancer, because health is also about teamwork. Everyone can help by providing information, support and encouragement. It's not always just about goals, titles and trophies. Fans should also take messages home with them, ideally even the impetus to go for screening themselves.”

With our campaigns, we want to remind everyone to think about themselves and to actually go for important preventive medical check-ups.”

The men will take to the pitch wearing specially designed jerseys with a special print for the Bundesliga match against Borussia Dortmund on 18 October at the Allianz Arena, as will the FC Bayern Women the following day at the FC Bayern Campus against Köln. This detail is intended to draw fans’ attention to the issue of breast cancer prevention. Following Der Klassiker, the Allianz Arena will once again be lit up in bright pink, sending a clear signal for prevention and solidarity.
