A top clash in the last eight! FC Bayern will take on RB Leipzig in the DFB Cup quarter-finals following Sunday’s draw at the German Football Museum in Dortmund. The draw was made by Friedhelm Funkel.
The two German heavyweights have faced off twice in the cup so far, and both matches were packed with action: Munich came out on top on penalties in the second round in Leipzig in October 2017. The record cup winners beat RB 3-0 in the 2019 final to seal their 19th cup title.
Quarter-final matches in February
The fixtures are scheduled for 3, 4, 10 and 11 February 2026. The German FA will confirm the exact dates and times of all games in the coming days. The semi-finals are scheduled for 21 and 22 April 2026, with the final at Berlin’s Olympic Stadium on 23 May 2026.
