Bayern’s Nicolas Jackson has reached the final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. The striker started in Tangiers on Wednesday as the Lions of Teranga claimed a 1-0 win over Egypt in the first semi-final. A tight affair was settled in the 78th minute by former Bayern man Sadio Mané, at which time Jackson’s team led the shot count 11-0.
Final on Sunday
Jackson will now have the chance to go for continental glory in Sunday’s final (20:00 CET) in Rabat. Senegal will face the winner of the second semi-final between Nigeria and hosts Morocco.
