

A top clash in the cup! FC Bayern will travel to face Bayer Leverkusen in the DFB Cup semi-finals after the draw was made by luger and two-time Olympic champion Max Langenhan in Mainz on Sunday. VfB Stuttgart will entertain SC Freiburg in the other fixture.
FC Bayern and Bayer Leverkusen have faced off eight times in the DFB Cup so far, with Munich winning six and Leverkusen winning two matches. The last cup encounter dates back to December 2024, when the German record cup winners lost 1-0 in the round of 16.
Semi-final matches in April
The two matches will be played on 21 and 22 April. The German FA will confirm the exact dates and times of the games in the coming days. The final will be staged at Berlin’s Olympic Stadium on 23 May 2026.
