Around 130 talented girls and boys gave it their all at Säbener Straße over the weekend of 28–29 March 2026. Selected from the best participants in the 2025 FC Bayern Campus training camps, they were given the chance to showcase their skills in front of experienced coaches and scouts – all at FC Bayern’s legendary training ground.
The programme was intensive: over the course of several sessions, the young footballers worked on their technique, tactics and mental approach. The Campus training camp coaches not only imparted footballing expertise, but also the values that define FC Bayern. During the lunch break, everyone gathered in the staff canteen for a bite to eat before returning to the pitch with renewed energy.

Particular highlights included visits from Bernd Dreher, a multiple German champion with FC Bayern, 2013 treble winner Diego Contento, and Klaus Augenthaler, the record champions’ long-serving defensive boss and captain. The former professional players shared valuable insights and advice, speaking about discipline, team spirit and self-belief. “Without team spirit and belief in oneself, talent remains just talent,” summed up Augenthaler.

The camp concluded with mini-tournaments, which gave the young talents another chance to show what they could do. For many, the weekend was an unforgettable experience – and perhaps the first step towards realising their big dream. An example from last year shows that this dream can become a reality: one young player made the leap into an FC Bayern youth team via the Campus training camp.
