FC Bayern fan club world cup: 'It couldn't be any better'
For three days, the Leitzachtal valley near Miesbach was all red and white. About 30 fan clubs from Germany, China, Slovakia and South Tyrol came to the first FC Bayern fan club world cup organised by the Leitzachtal e.V. fan club, chaired by Marcus Gasteiger. Together with partners like Volksbank Raiffeisenbank, Paulaner and adidas, he staged a football festival that really brought the Mia san mia spirit to life.
The tournament kicked off with a warm-up in the festival tent – music, refreshments, a welcome, first technical discussions about tactics and favourite players. On Saturday there was action on the pitches. At four venues – Weyarn, Schliersee, Wörnsmühl and Miesbach – the teams, welcomed by the local mayors, battled it out. Official referees from the Bavarian Football Association (BFV) ensured fair play, with the two top teams from each group qualifying for the final day. One of the many anecdotes: The roatn Traminer team made a spontaneous trip to Munich after the opening party – and still won all their group matches on Saturday. Even the youngest players were in action: a 13-year-old member of the Mangfalltal fan club scored no fewer than five goals.

The final day brought thrilling group and knockout matches at a high level. The semi-finals were a colourful blend of different countries. Niederdorf from South Tyrol and Roude Mösler from Königsmoos faced off in the final – a tactical battle, with Roude Mösler winning 2-0.
That's FC Bayern, Mia san mia. It's just brilliant to stage something like this.
Raimond Aumann, FCB legend
Besides the bouncy castle, goal wall shooting and photo booth, the visit from World Cup winner Raimond Aumann was the big highlight: “I think it couldn't be any better. That's what marks out FC Bayern,” said the former world-class goalkeeper.

Along with Markus Meindl, director of fan relations, Aumann handed out the trophies: “It’s crucial that FC Bayern stays true to its roots,” the Bayern legend commented. The 'Worldcup Rot-Weiß' showed that the fan clubs are the heart of the German record champions.
During the first half of 2026, FC Bayern once again had the chance to experience first-hand what FCB passion is all about during its visits to regional fan clubs:
