FC Bayern are set to integrate forward Arijon Ibrahimović into head coach Vincent Kompany's first team for the new season. The 20-year-old spent the past season on loan at 1. FC Heidenheim. Ibrahimović, who has been with FC Bayern since 2018, is under contract until 30 June 2028. He had gained experience at Italian first-division sides Frosinone Calcio and Lazio before his spell at Heidenheim. He will wear the number 22 shirt.
FC Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund: “Arijon joined FC Bayern when he was twelve years old. He has progressed step by step through our Campus and targeted loan spells. In the last year at Heidenheim in particular, he has learned a lot personally to be ready for FC Bayern. His development is a great example of the opportunities we offer our talents. Now it’s no longer only about learning – it’s about making his mark here at FC Bayern.”

Ibrahimović joined FC Bayern’s youth from 1. FC Nürnberg at the age of 12. He impressed with his performances for the reserves and made his first-team debut against VfL Bochum at the age of 17 in February 2023. He made 34 competitive appearances for Heidenheim last season, scoring two goals and setting up another five. He made his debut for Germany’s U21s in November and has made two appearances for them so far.
