Then at the team hotel, too, a large number of supporters cheered the German record champions, making it a very pleasant arrival.
FCB legends visit Pop-Up Store in Hong Kong

In the evening, Bayern legends Giovane Elber and Roy Makaay visited one of the six FC Bayern Pop-Up Stores in Hong Kong. Since 31 July, fans have been able to purchase, among other things, the shirt with the specially made nameset for Hong Kong here, which the team will wear in the friendly against Aston Villa. Mascot Berni also paid the store a visit on Wednesday.
Media duties after arrival
After checking in at the team hotel in Hong Kong, several media appearances were on the agenda for Jonas Urbig and others, with the players answering questions from international and travelling German journalists. “You feel a total openness and affection from the people,” said Urbig about the Audi Summer Tour. “This euphoria that we’re met with is very special. We’re happy to take the time to go the fans, take photos and sign autographs. I’m really enjoying the trip.”
Legends meet ‘Match of Your Life’ applicants

Later on, former world-class strikers Élber and Makaay met two applicants for the ‘Match of Your Life’. Paulaner, long-standing partner of FC Bayern, is searching for passionate amateur footballers to form a special team: the Paulaner Dreamteam. At the end of it, there’s a chance to play a match against the FCB first team in summer 2027. Steffen Krug and Niklas Kraus have applied and are following Bayern on the Audi Summer Tour. On Thursday, they have a training session with Konrad Laimer. Before that, the pair picked up some tips from Bayern legends Élber and Makaay while inspecting the pitch for the session.
