After a record request for tickets last season, demand to watch Bayern in the Bundesliga in 2026/27 has risen even further, with an unprecedented number of tickets applications for all home and away fixtures this season. Every match is already oversubscribed, meaning further ticket sales will only be conducted for selected games over the campaign.
Jan-Christian Dreesen, FC Bayern CEO: “The enormous interest in our matches is incredible and by no means something to be taken for granted. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all our fans for this. It demonstrates once again just how much appeal FC Bayern has. The fact that we receive significantly more ticket enquiries for every match – whether at home or away – than there are seats available is an impressive sign of our fans’ loyalty to the club. We know that not every request can be met, but we are doing everything we can to continue providing our members and fan clubs with special stadium experiences.”
The level of interest is particularly striking for home matches at the Allianz Arena, where at least twice as many ticket requests were received as there were seats available for every Bundesliga match. For top matches such as those against Borussia Dortmund, VfB Stuttgart, Schalke or Eintracht Frankfurt, the number of ticket requests was in fact significantly higher. The highest number of requests – over 330,000 – was received for the home match against Dortmund.
This trend continues with away matches too, where demand for away tickets is so high that, in theory, Bayern could fill the host club’s entire stadium with their own fans at every match.
Tickets for Bayern’s Bundesliga matches will be allocated by random draw amongst members and fan clubs, as usual. Anyone who would still like to submit a ticket request can register their interest via the ticket shop, bearing in mind the final application deadlines.
