Dr Christian Groh appointed to FC Bayern advisory committee
The FC Bayern executive committee has appointed Dr Christian Groh as a new member of the advisory committee. The 46-year-old, who holds a PhD in business administration and was born in Schweinfurt, Bavaria, is chairman of the board of Schwarz Corporate Solutions KG, which has been a partner of the German record champions since 2023. Alexander Sixt chairs the advisory committee, with Alexandra Schörghuber serving as his deputy.

In Dr Groh, we have gained another distinguished figure for our advisory committee who embodies fresh impetus and brings with him enormous financial expertise and an extensive network. A club steeped in tradition such as FC Bayern thrives on maintaining its stability, whilst at the same time continually incorporating fresh ideas.”

Dr Groh attended his first meeting of the advisory committee in his new role ahead of FC Bayern’s home match against Union Berlin at the Allianz Arena. Also making their first appearance in the Uli Hoeneß Lounge were the two managing directors of FC Bayern Basketball GmbH, Adrian Sarmiento and Thorsten Leibenath, as well as the new head coach of the basketball team, Anton Gavel.
