Jamal Musiala is set to return early from duty with the German national team. As the German Football Association announced on Friday, the FC Bayern midfielder has suffered a torn muscle fibre in his right thigh. The 23-year-old picked up the injury on Thursday evening whilst warming up for the DFB side’s UEFA Nations League opener in the Netherlands; Musiala had actually been named in the starting XI for the match in Amsterdam. He'll now begin his rehab programme at FC Bayern.
