Michael Olise and Dayot Upamecano were in UEFA Nations League action for France on Friday evening, while Minjae Kim and David Santos Daiber contested friendly matches. fcbayern.com summarises the matches:
Olise scores again for France
Michael Olise was on target again to secure a point for France in their Nations League clash against Italy. Following his winning goal in Belgium (1–0) and the assist for the 1–0 victory in Turkey, the Bayern forward was also on the scoresheet in the 1–1 (0–0) draw against Gli Azzurri, playing a decisive role in all of his country’s goals during the current international break. However, as Alessandro Bastoni equalised for the Italians in the 68th minute, Olise’s contribution was not enough to secure a further three points for Les Bleus this time.

Dayot Upamecano was another FC Bayern player in the French starting line-up. However, in a hard-fought match, the defender was shown a second yellow card in the 85th minute and was sent off. As a result, Upamecano will be suspended for France’s upcoming Nations League match against Belgium on Monday (5 October).

South Korea, led by Minjae Kim, could only manage a goalless draw in Friday’s friendly against Venezuela. The Bayern defender remained on the pitch until the 80th minute of an evenly-matched game in Ulsan. To round off the international break, the Koreans face Uzbekistan in their next friendly on Tuesday, 6 October.
Santos Daiber starts for Portugal U-20s
David Santos Daiber was in the starting line-up for the Portuguese U-20s, who won their final match in the U20 Elite League 5–0 against the Czech Republic. The Bayern midfielder played until the 74th minute. Gil Martins (3’/44’), Rodrigo Rodrigues (29’), an own goal by Simon Sloncík (65’) and Keyan Varela (75’) secured a convincing victory for the Portuguese youngsters.
