22-year-old Tolisso was officially unveiled as a Bayern player on 17 July 2017.

First Bundesliga game, first goal as the Frenchman opened his account in the Matchday 1 victory over Bayer Leverkusen.
Tolisso won the league in his first season at Bayern and cut a fine figure in his lederhosen at Marienplatz.
Tolisso won the World Cup with France on 15 July 2018, coming off the bench in the 4-2 win over Croatia in Moscow to maintain the proud record of a Bayern player featuring in every World Cup final since 1982.
The freshly crowned world champion was welcomed back to Munich with a World Cup cake at Säbener Straße.
Tolisso suffered a major setback not long after the World Cup, tearing his cruciate ligament in his right knee against Leverkusen.
The midfielder faced months of recovery work but fought his way back…
… and made his comeback in the 2019 DFB Cup final against RB Leipzig, featuring in the 3-0 win 251 days after his injury.
Tolisso wasn’t spared injury misfortune in the following years at Bayern, either. He frequently had to go through recovery and rehabilitation.
“I’m mostly in a good mood,” Tolisso said at his unveiling in 2017 – and he stayed true to that despite the numerous setbacks, always remaining an important part of the team.
Tolisso scored in the 4-1 win over Chelsea in the Champions League quarter-final second leg in August 2020, helping pave the way to his greatest honour in a Bayern shirt.
Two weeks and three exciting games later, Tolisso and Bayern won the Champions League by beating Paris Saint-Germain 1-0, with the French midfielder coming on in the closing stages.
Tolisso scored 21 times in 118 appearances for Bayern, including a lovely strike from distance against Atletico Madrid that was voted FC Bayern Goal of the Month.
Tolisso became a world champion for club and country in February 2021 when Bayern won the FIFA Club World Cup and completed their historic sextuple.
Tolisso said farewell with his fifth Bundesliga title in May 2022. Merci for five great years, Coco!
