Daniel Fradley has been part of Vincent Kompany’s coaching team at FC Bayern since 1 January 2026. The Englishman previously worked as chief analyst under Pep Guardiola at Premier League giants Manchester City, contributing to the Premier League and FA Community Shield (English super cup) titles in 2024.
Early beginnings and long spell in New York
Born in Manchester, Fradley began his coaching career in September 2010 at the age of just 19 in the academy of Rochdale AFC, just outside the famous footballing city. Just two years later, he was promoted to chief analyst at the then fourth-division club. After promotion and a year in the third tier, the UEFA B licence holder moved to New York City FC, a partner club of Manchester City, in Major League Soccer (USA), where he served as chief analyst and later also as technical coach until his return to Manchester in 2023.
