David Santos has been at FC Bayern since summer 2016. Born in Luxembourg, he moved to Munich as a child with his parents. The central midfielder joined the FC Bayern Campus from hometown club TSV Milbertshofen at the age of nine. Through the youth teams, he worked his way up to the reserves and also earned some appearances for the first team. He was included in the Bayern sqyad at the 2025 Club World Cup in the USA and celebrated his professional debut six months later, in the 4-0 win at Heidenheim in December 2025. He signed a professional contract with the German record champions in February 2026.
Portuguese youth international
Santos, who has a Portuguese mother and a German father, opted for a career in the Portuguese setup. At the Under-17 EURO in 2024, he was part of the team that reached the final, which ended in defeat to France.
