Harry Kane moved from Tottenham Hotspur to FC Bayern in August 2023. With the exception of a few short loan spells, the London-born striker went in search of goals for the Lillywhites for almost 20 years (2004-2023) and became Spurs' record goalscorer with 280 in all competitive fixtures. With 213 goals in the English top flight, the forward was the most successful scorer in Premier League history after Alan Shearer (260 goals in 441 games) at the time of his move to Munich. In 2019, he reached the Champions League final with Tottenham for the first time in the club's history, but Spurs lost 2-0 to Liverpool.

England captain and record scorer

Kane has been captain of England since 2018. He reached the final of a European Championship for the first time in his national team colours at EURO 2021, but the Three Lions lost to Italy on penalties at their home Wembley Stadium. In March 2023, the striker replaced Wayne Rooney as England's record scorer with a goal in the European Championship qualifier against Italy.
