With 213 goals in the English top flight, the forward was the most successful scorer in Premier League history after Alan Shearer (260 goals in 441 games) at the time of his move to Munich. In 2019, he reached the Champions League final with Tottenham for the first time in the club's history, but Spurs lost 2-0 to Liverpool.
Kane was top scorer in his very first Bundesliga season with 36 goals in 32 appearances, setting a record for a newcomer in the competition. The Englishman also earned the Golden Shoe as Europe’s best goalscorer.
