Konrad Laimer moved to FC Bayern in the summer of 2023 after his contract with RB Leipzig expired. The Austrian was trained at the RB Salzburg youth academy and made his senior debut in September 2014. At Salzburg, the midfielder celebrated three championships and three cup wins before moving to RB Leipzig in the summer of 2017.

Laimer made 190 competitive appearances (15 goals) for the Saxons and was a DFB Cup winner with them in both 2022 and 2023. He progressed through all the Austrian national youth teams and made his senior debut in June 2019. Laimer is a jack of all trades who can fill multiple positions on the pitch. For Bayern he’s mostly used in defensive midfield or at right-back; for his country he also plays on the right wing.
