Tom Bischof is a versatile midfielder, who can operate as a number 10, a holding midfielder and also on the wings. From youth club TSV Amorbach he joined TSG Hoffenheim in 2015, where he worked his way up to the first team. Bischof became Hoffenheim’s youngest player to date in the Bundesliga in March 2022 at the age of just 16. In the following years, he became a staple at TSG and also gained a reputation for his long-distance shooting. At the start of 2025, Bischof announced he would be joining FC Bayern from the summer.
Call-up for Germany
Bischof represented Germany at all youth levels from U16 to U20. In 2024 he was awarded the gold Fritz Walter Medal as the best talent in the under-19 category. In late May he was called up for the senior German natonal team for the first time for the UEFA Nations League finals tournament.
