Joshua Kimmich has been at FC Bayern since July 2015. He can play in both midfield and at right-back. At the age of 12 he left his hometown club VfB Bösingen to join the VfB Stuttgart academy. After six years he left for Leipzig, before moving to Munich in 2015.

The number six has celebrated countless successes during his time in Munich, including the Champions League. Kimmich played a pivotal role in the historic 2019/20 campaign, during which Bayern claimed a total of six titles. At international level, the versatile player made his senior debut for Germany in late May 2016. Just a few weeks later, he was a first-team regular at the European Championship as Die Mannschaft reached the semi-finals, and was later named in the Team of the Tournament. In 2017, the native Swabian won the Confederations Cup with Germany.
