FC Bayern teamed up with technology company SAP (with whom a premium partnership was launched earlier in August) to help BTECH, a new public high school opened by SAP this year in Queens, New York with a focus on business and technology. The initiative was part of the Month of Service, SAP’s signature volunteering service held in October every year that encourages and supports employee volunteer work in the community.
BTECH (Business Technology Early College High School) is a six-year program that will give high school students the opportunity to earn both a high school diploma and an Associate's college degree at no cost to the students or their family. The curriculum at BTECH combines academic excellence with technical aptitude and job training to prepare students for careers in the technology industry.
In this case, it was a coming together of SAP and FCB to help spruce up some of BTECH’s classrooms in time for their inaugural school year. FC Bayern also brought a traditional flavor with a buffet of various Bavarian cuisines for the volunteers. Even Berni wasn't spared from the painting. but the results were completely worth it in the end.
