2015 at Bayern in figures
Every move made by a Bayern player on the field of play is measured and recorded these days -- and just as in all of the recent years, Germany's record champions set new best marks in 2015. fcbayern.de has compiled the best of the facts and figures, for the first half of the current season and for the calendar year.
The 2015/16 campaign to date in figures
3 -- Jérôme Boateng has three Bundesliga assists so far, equalling his total for the three previous seasons combined.
5 -- FC Bayern won the unofficial "autumn championship" for the team top of the table at the half way mark for a record fifth time in a row. Munich have achieved the feat 21 times in total, and finished as champions on 17 of the previous 20 occasions.
8 -- A mere eight goals conceded makes the FC Bayern defence the best in the Bundesliga. Munich have kept 11 clean sheets in 17 games so far.
9 -- FCB are through to the DFB Cup quarter-finals for the ninth time in a row, equalling their own German record set from 1965/66 to 1973/74.
10 -- Bayern's ten straight wins at the start of a Bundesliga season is a new league best mark, beating the eight wins on the bounce at the start of the treble-winning 2012/13 campaign.
13 -- FC Bayern won all 13 matches at the Allianz Arena in the first half of the season, scoring 47 goals and conceding only four!
15 -- Munich amassed 15 points in the Champions League group stage, equalling their own previous best.
19 -- The Reds also set a new club record with 19 goals scored in the group stage, a total equalled only by Real Madrid.
29 -- Thomas Müller (14) and Robert Lewandowski (15) have 29 goals between them so far. If they were to maintain their strike rate they would finish on 58 goals and become the best strike pairing in Bundesliga history, beating the record of 54 set by Wolfsburg's Edin Dzeko and Grafite.
34.37 -- Kingsley Coman would need to watch his speed in urban traffic and the French youngster was clocked at 34.37 km/h in a sprint, making him the fastest man at the club!
46 -- FCB are top of the Bundesliga with 46 points, a halfway total only bettered by the Reds themselves in Pep Guardiola's debut season (2013/14, 47 points).
56 -- Munich went a record 56 matches unbeaten prior to the midpoint of the Bundesliga season (47 wins, nine draws). The incredible run only ended with the 3-1 defeat at Mönchengladbach.
58 -- The Bavarians' 58 Bundesliga matches with conceding from a penalty is a new club record.
167 -- Thomas Müller covered the most ground of anyone in the squad with 167 km for the season so far.
198 --A total of 198 fouls is the lowest in the league.
300 -- The final Champions League group stage fixture in Zagreb marked Philipp Lahm's 300th competitive victory with Bayern.
340 -- In the Bundesliga, Bayern took the most shots at goal (340) and allowed their opponents the fewest (115). Robert Lewandowski tops the individual ranking for shots with 83 -- he topped the ranking last term with 105 for the whole season.
350 -- Manuel Neuer played more passes in his team's own defensive third of the field than any other Bundesliga player -- and 343 found a team-mate.
1,000 -- FCB wrapped up their 1,000th victory in the German top flight with a 4-0 win over FC Köln on Matchday 10.
1,530 --Manuel Neuer is the only FCB pro who has not missed one of the 1,530 Bundesliga minutes for FC Bayern. Besides Neuer, only Thomas Müller and Arturo Vidal made appearances in all 17 Bundesliga matches.
12,473 --FC Bayern lead the way for the most passes (12,473), but also the best accuracy (88.7 percent) in the first half of the Bundesliga season. The Munich men boast a better accuracy in their opponents' half (85.4 percent) than any other Bundesliga team on the whole pitch.
The year 2015 in figures
6 --Bayern managed to remain unbeaten on home soil in the Champions League in 2015. The German record champions won all six of their matches at the Allianz Arena, scoring 30 goals and conceding only four!
8-0 -- FCB's biggest victory in a competitive fixture in 2015 dates back to February, an 8-0 thrashing of Hamburger SV.
20 -- T he number of clean sheets FCB kept in the league this year -- a best-mark in the current campaign, and by a considerable margin!
22 --The 22 goals conceded in the Bundesliga are a best-mark too.
25 -- Philipp Lahm hoisted the championship shield into the Munich sky in May 2015. It was the 25th German championship title for FC Bayern.
36 -- Bayern were the most goal-hungry team in Europe's elite club competition this year, netting 36 times, followed by Barcelona on 31 goals.
38 -- Robert Lewandowski scored 38 goals in 51 competitive fixtures this year, setting a new personal record. The last Bayern pro to score as often in one year was Mario Gomez, who netted 43 times in 46 fixtures in 2011.
53 -- The number of competitive fixtures involving Bayern in 2015. It is the highest number among Bundesliga teams, matched only by Wolfsburg and Dortmund.
80 -- The Munich men took 80 Bundesliga points this year, a top mark by a large margin!
85 --The number of Bundesliga goals Bayern scored in 2015, also a maximum!
