Every move made by a Bayern player on the field is measured and recorded in detail - and just as in all of the recent years, the Bavarians set new best marks in 2016. fcbayern.com has delved into the facts for the first half of the current season and for the calendar year.

The 2016/17 campaign to date in figures

6 – FCB top the table during the winter break for the sixth time in a row, an unprecedented feat! Overall the Munich men have achieved it for the 22nd time, and in 18 of the 21 cases FCB went on to win the Bundesliga.

8 – Carlo Ancelotti has won all of his first eight competitive fixtures with FC Bayern, more than any other FCB coach ever since the promotion to the Bundesliga in 1965.

9 – FCB have the best defence in the Bundesliga, conceding only nine goals in 16 fixtures. The German record champions are the only side to keep a clean sheet in half of the matches.

34.8 – kilometres per hour: Kingsley Coman's maximum speed out on the pitch. He topped his best mark of the previous season by 0.43 kilometres.

52 – No other Bundesliga team boast as many gilt-edged chances as FC Bayern, who also top the goal rankings on 38.

69.9 – The strongest Bundesliga player in one-on-ones wears the FC Bayern shirt. World champion Mats Hummels boasts 69.9 percent tackles won, a best mark after Bundesliga Matchday 16. Overall FCB are the strongest team when it comes to tackles, winning 53.4 percent.

133 – Robert Lewandowski's goal against RB Leipzig before the winter break was his 133rd Bundesliga goal, now equal with Giovane Elber in the all-time rankings. Claudio Pizarro is the only non-German player who boasts more goals (190).

159 – Thiago has turned in the most kilometres in the 2016/17 Bundesliga campaign so far.

162 – FCB have committed only 162 fouls, less than any other Bundesliga side in the 16 matches before the break.

238 – Captain Philipp Lahm won his 238th Bundesliga fixture against RB Leipzig. Lahm now lies fifth in the all-time Bundesliga rankings, equal with former Bayern pro Stefan Reuter. Lahm boasts 64 percent matches won, the best rate among the top ten players.

284 – The shots at goal the Bayern pros have taken so far. At the same time, their opponents have only taken 121 shots at the Bayern goal, a best mark in the current campaign. Robert Lewandowski alone has taken 70 shots, more than any other Bundesliga player. He also topped the rankings in the two previous seasons.

415 – David Alaba has completed 415 sprints this campaign, more than any other Bayern player. On average he turns in 31 sprints per 90 minutes, second only to Franck RIbéry on 32.

999 – Thomas Müller put an end to his goal drought of 12 Bundesliga matches or 999 minutes on Matchday 14, making it four in Bayern's 5-0 victory over VfL Wolfsburg.

1,440 – Netminder Manuel Neuer boasts 1,440 minutes played so far this campaign, more than any other pro. The World's Best Goalkeeper has not missed a single second in 16 matches. Neuer is ahead of Robert Lewandowski on 1,374 minutes, who made appearances in all 16 Bundesliga fixtures.

3,800 – Thiago's opener against RB Leipzig on Matchday 16 was FC Bayern's 3,800th Bundesliga goal, a record by a considerable margin! No other Bundesliga side boasts more than 3,000 goals.

11,537 – The Bavarians lead the way for the most passes (11,537) and the best accuracy (87 percent) this campaign.

The year 2016 in figures

6 – Bayern remained unbeaten in Champions League home matches in 2016. The German record champions won all six of their matches at the Allianz Arena, scoring 17 goals and conceding only four! FCB boast 15 consecutive home matches without defeat, more than any other European team.

6-0 – FC Bayern's biggest competitive victory in 2016 dates back to August, when they downed Werder Bremen 6-0 in the Bundesliga opener. In addition, Bayern won four of their matches 5-0.

13 – Thomas Müller boasts the most assists in the Bundesliga in 2016. Besides, he netted 15 times himself. Mainz's Yunus Malli is the only other Bundesliga player to achieve two-digit numbers in both goals and assists, setting up and scoring 11 goals.

17 – The number of clean sheets FCB have kept in 2016, a Bundesliga best mark by far.

18 - goals conceded in 33 matches are also a top mark.

39 – Robert Lewandowski scored 39 goals in 49 competitive fixtures in 2016, surpassing his personal record from the previous year by one goal. The last Bayern pro to boast as many goals in one year was Mario Gomez, who netted 43 times in 46 matches in 2011.

50 – Manuel Neuer is the only Bundesliga pro to make 50 appearances. The only match Neuer missed was the Champions League match away to FC Rostov, a 3-2 reverse, when Sven Ulreich deputised for him between the sticks.

51 – The number of competitive fixtures involving Bayern in 2016. It is the highest number among Bundesliga teams, matched only by Borussia Dortmund.

72 – The number of Bundesliga goals the Munich men scored in 2016, no other Bundesliga side netted so often.

81 – The German record champions took 81 Bundesliga points in 2016, easily a maximum!
