FC Bayern and FC Ingolstadt have only crossed swords in three Bundesliga fixtures and one cup tie so far, and the numbers tell the story: the German record champions have won all four of the matches, scoring 13 and conceding only two goals. FCB fans have fond memories of the encounter in May 2016. The 2-1 victory away to Ingolstadt on Matchday 33 meant FC Bayern could no longer be toppled from their perch, winning the Bundesliga for the fourth time in a row.
Crucial opener
