Three goals, three points: FC Bayern got their 2017/18 Champions League campaign off to a successful start. Tuesday's 3-0 victory over RSC Anderlecht yielded lots of interesting stats. fcbayern.com has collected the most interesting numbers:
ONE - Nine days after his 22nd birthday Niklas Süle has another reason to celebrate: he made his Champions League debut against Anderlecht on Tuesday evening. He almost marked the occasion with his maiden CL goal, but it was ruled out by the referee.
TEN –Thomas Müller has now worn FC Bayern colours in ten consecutive Champions League campaigns. Only Mehmet Scholl and Oliver Kahn have achieved this before.
12 – FC Bayern have scored 12 of their last 14 CL goals in the second half.
16 – Robert Lewandowski has scored all of FC Bayern's last 16 penalties.
100 - Manuel Neuer reached a milestone, making this 100th European appearance on Tuesday.
115 – Jerome Boateng made his comeback against Anderlecht after 115 days on the sidelines. He set up Joshua Kimmich's late goal after being subbed on. Boateng had sustained a thigh injury against Freiburg on 20 May.
540 - Joshua Kimmich is the only FCB player who has not missed a single competitive minute so far this term. He played the full 90 minutes in the sixth match this season.
