The fifth championship title in a row, Robert Lewandowski's incredible scoring streak, and fortress Allianz Arena: 2017 yielded a number of interesting stats. fcbayern.com has delved into the facts and stats.

The year 2017 in figures

0 - FC Bayern remained unbeaten in Bundesliga home matches for the first time since 2013. The Bavarians won 13 and drew three matches in 2017.

3 - David Alaba is the only Bundesliga player to score three goals from direct free-kicks in 2017. Besides this, the Austrian is the only player to score four goals from outside the box.

4 - Jupp Heynckes returned as head coach in October 2017, his fourth stint at FC Bayern. No other coach in the Bundesliga's history boasts so many spells at one club.

5 - FC Bayern sealed the fifth German championship title on the bounce in May, extending their record. No other Bundesliga team boasts more than three titles in a row. Captain Philipp Lahm was presented with the Meisterschale each time, equalling a record. Only Klaus Augenthaler reached the same number.

5-0 - Heynckes enjoyed a great comeback, a 5-0 win over SC Freiburg. Only Udo Lattek achieved a bigger victory when taking over at FC Bayern, winning 6-0 over Aachen in March 1970.

6 - FC Bayern beat Bayer Leverkusen 3-1, winning on Matchday 1 for the sixth time on the spin, equalling the Bundesliga record set by 1. FC Kaiserslautern, who won their opening games from 1989 to 1994.

7 - On Matchday 15 FC Bayern sealed the so-called autumn championship, the unofficial accolade awarded to the team at the top of the Bundesliga at the midpoint of season, for the seventh time in a row, a unique record in the Bundesliga. No other team sealed the Herbstmeisterschaft more than three times on the spin.

8 - Robert Lewandowski has scored in all eight Bundesliga home matches this season, surpassing Gerd Müller's record. Der Bomber found the net in the first six home matches of the 1972/73 season.

9 – Heynckes enjoyed his ninth Champions League victory in a row (including season overlaps) when Bayern downed PSG 3-1 in the last group match. Heynckes now boasts the longest winning streak of all Bayern coaches and of all German coaches in Europe's elite club competition.

13 - No player set up more Bundesliga goals in 2017 than Thomas Müller, who boasts 13 assists, equal with Leipzig's Emil Forsberg.

23 - Bayern wrapped up the autumn championship for the 23rd time overall. A good omen: the men from Munich went on to seal the championship title in 19 out of 22 cases, an 86% conversion rate.

25 - Bayern scored the most goals from set-pieces in 2017, finding the net 25 times, equal with Hertha Berlin. The Bavarians only conceded nine goals from set-pieces, fewer than any other side. One goal conceded from corners is also a best-mark.

27 - FC Bayern sealed their 27th German championship title overall in April, when they downed VfL Wolfsburg 6-0.

30 - FC Bayern have gone unbeaten in 30 Bundesliga home matches at the Allianz Arena (including season overlaps), winning 24 and drawing six. The last time the German record champions boasted a longer streak without defeat in Bundesliga matches on their home field was from 2001 to 2003, when they took points at the Olympic Stadium on 33 consecutive occasions.

30 - FC Bayern have won all of their last 30 Bundesliga matches against promoted sides, scoring 99 and conceding 19 goals: a Bundesliga record.

33 - Lewandowski scored a whopping 33 Bundesliga goals in 2017.

50 - On Matchday 12 Joshua Kimmich celebrated his 50th victory in his 62nd Bundesliga match. He needed fewer appearances than any other player to achieve this mark, surpassing the record set by Sven Bender and Andreas Ottl, who needed 71 Bundesliga matches each.

72 - Heynckes' return to FC Bayern means he is the oldest coach in Champions League history.

84 - FC Bayern clocked up 84 points in 35 Bundesliga matches in 2017, 19 more than Borussia Dortmund. The goal difference of 88 scored and 24 conceded is also a best-mark.

92 - Lewandowski scored his 92nd Bundesliga goal wearing Bayern colours when he netted against Köln, equal with Giovane Elber. The only non-German player to boast more goals is his team-mate Arjen Robben, who has netted on 93 occasions wearing the FCB kit.

100 - Manuel Neuer kept his 100th clean sheet in the Bundesliga wearing Bayern colours on Matchday 22 of the 2016/17 season. He needed 183 matches to achieve this mark, a new Bundesliga record. Neuer surpassed Werder Bremen's Oliver Reck, who needed 232 matches.

250 – Philipp Lahm celebrated his 250th league victory in the 4-1 win over Freiburg, his last Bundesliga match. He surpassed Sepp Maier and Lothar Matthäus. Only Oliver Kahn (310) and Manfred Kaltz (291) boast more Bundesliga victories.

366 - Franck Ribéry made his 366th competitive appearance for FC Bayern in the 1-0 victory over Köln on Matchday 16, setting a new record as the non-German player with the most appearances for the men from Munich. He surpassed sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic' total of 365 matches.

500 - Heynckes celebrated the 500th victory of his Bundesliga career as player and coach when Bayern downed FC Augsburg on Matchday 12.
