Thomas Müller received a special present from the FC Bayern fans on his 29th birthday on Thursday as they voted him their Player of the Month for August, the third time he's won the award this calendar year. An impressive record of three games, three wins and direct involvement in three goals during the past month earned the attacker the August crown.
Müller was the clear winner with 30 per cent of the votes, followed by Robert Lewandowski (20%) and new arrival Leon Goretzka (16%).
Three fans win
Müller isn't the only winner from the vote. Three Bayern fans who cast their vote have each won a signed shirt from this month's winner. Congratulations to Johannes Onnich, Florian Geissler and Anna Michael who are now the proud owners of a signed Thomas Müller jersey.
