Bayern complete performance tests

The year is drawing to a close, and the FC Bayern pros look back on numerous weeks with midweek matches and internationals. Niko Kovac had the full squad at his disposal in the last week without a midweek match before Christmas. The Bavarians used the time for performance tests on Tuesday.

Data regarding the players' fitness were collected under the auspices of Dr Holger Broich and a scientific team. The pros completed the one-hour tests in groups of two. Robert Lewandowski and Jérôme Boateng were the first to work up a sweat, starting at 9. Arjen Robben and Alphonso Davies took over from them. The squad had completed more thorough performance diagnostics at the beginning of the season.

Only the goalkeepers worked out on the pitch as their team-mates completed the tests in the performance centre. The outfield players return to the training ground for a public session on Wednesday at 11.10 CET.
