The Bavarians were greeted by bright sunshine when they took up preparations for the tough match away to RB Leipzig on Tuesday morning. A win against the Saxony outfit on Saturday would mean the seventh championship title in a row, and the Bavarians were correspondingly upbeat and committed.
Three pros were unable to resume team training, turning in individual sessions. Manuel Neuer completed a running session on an adjacent pitch after he tore a muscle against Düsseldorf about three weeks ago. James Rodríguez, who had been out of action with a muscle injury sustained in the match against Nürnberg, also completed laps. Jérôme Boateng worked individually in the performance centre.
