After two intensive days of training, Hansi Flick wanted to give his players Thursday off in order to keep them fresh for Saturday's crunch match against Borussia Mönchengladbach. A few players couldn't stay away, though, and were out on the pitch in the morning – with the head coach.
David Alaba, Michaël Cuisance and Javi Martínez completed a brief session in freezing temperatures under the guidance of Flick, and they clearly enjoyed themselves while also working up a sweat. After speed strength exercises and a sprinting and finishing drill, the session ended with a shooting competition. You can see who was most accurate in the video.
