Union have won five of their last eight games at the Stadion an der Alten Försterei (D1, L2), keeping clean sheets in each of them. Their last fixture was also their first draw at home in the top flight, against Wolfsburg (2-2).

Union’s Sebastian Andersson has scored six headed goals this season, which is the most in the league. The last players to net more in a Bundesliga season were Stefan Kießling and Mario Mandzukic with seven each in 2013/14.
7. Eisernen reliant on set pieces
Only two teams have scored more goals from set pieces this season than Union’s 14. With a total of 32 goals, it means 44% have come in this manner, which is a league high. As well as Andersson’s heading, captain Christopher Trimmel has been a major player with seven assists, all of which have come from dead balls. It makes him the league’s leading provider from set pieces.
