Alphonso Davies has impressed players, coaches and fans alike with his outstanding performances, so it's not surprising that the Canadian was voted Player of the Month for May by supporters. Davies received 37 percent of the vote, putting him ahead of Joshua Kimmich (30%) and Thomas Müller (14%). It is the third award this season for the full-back, after previous accolades in December and February.

Unstoppable: With his pace and agility, Davies sneaks past his opponents time after time, like here in the game against Düsseldorf. The Canadian was also among the scorers in this match. He fought for the ball in the opposing penalty area, prevailed against three Düsseldorf players and finished calmly to make it 5-0.
Roadrunner on the left wing
Davies plays on the left of defence - and into the hearts of Bayern fans. Again and again the 19-year-old sprints and catches up with his opponents, even if they seem far away. Because of this ability to accelerate from nothing to top speed, Müller recently coined the nickname "FC Bayern Roadrunner".
