Whether FC Bayern win the Champions League final is still up in the air - but yesterday Munich already got in the mood for the biggest match of the year with a unique overhead spectacle. Pilots with amazing aerobatic skills wrote "PACK MA'S", "MISSION RED" and "#MISSIONLIS6ON" in the skies above the Bavarian capital - and of course the club's Allianz Arena home.

Support from everyone, everywhere

"Munich is Red!" - and when the record champions play for Ol' Big Ears in the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain in Lisbon on Sunday evening, they can be sure of solid support from home.

Here's our gallery of the spectacular event:

Mission Red one last time

In addition, during the finals in Portugal, selected buildings including the Allianz Arena or the façade of the future "FC Bayern Welt" in the city centre shone in the red of the reigning double winners. FCB fans and partners also took part in the campaign. Now another of the city's well-known landmarks will be added to the roster this weekend. On Saturday and Sunday, the Munich Olympic Tower (Olympiaturm) will also be illuminated in red. With this incredible support, there's a great chance #MISSIONLIS6ON will be successful and the trophy will come back to Munich.
