An examination by club doctors Prof. Dr. Peter Ueblacker and Dr. Jochen Hahne has revealed that Jérôme Boateng picked up a muscle strain in the back of his right thigh during the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain. The centre-back will complete a rehabilitation programme prepared by the club’s medical department during his holiday. Boateng was substituted in the 25th minute of the match against PSG and replaced by Niklas Süle.
