With the countdown underway ahead of the UEFA Super Cup against Sevilla (kick-off at 9pm CEST, coverage available through our live text commentary and web radio), Bayern got themselves into the competitive spirit with a warm-up in the morning.
Warm-up, stretch, football tennis
As they’d done so successfully at the Champions League final tournament in Lisbon, Hansi Flick’s side loosened up ahead of the game with a light workout at the team hotel. As well as a number of warm-up exercises and stretches, Manuel Neuer & Co. also got down to business with a game of their beloved football tennis. The excitement and desire for the next title was clear to see among the treble winners.

The real action begins at 9pm CEST as Bayern look to continue their incredible form at the Puskás Aréna. FCB are currently on a 22-match winning run and would add to last season’s remarkable trophy hall with a 23rd victory tonight.
