All FC Bayern supporters traveling to Budapest for the UEFA Super Cup should be aware of the travel warnings from their home countries and the local regulations in Budapest. FC Bayern have already provided information on stadium access, stadium regulations, UEFA hygiene regulations, entry requirements, etc. on its website. The info is available here.
After the Bavarian State Government changed the current Bavarian infection protection measures ordinance and entry quarantine ordinance on 22 September, FC Bayern advises all supporters traveling to Budapest to read the entry and quarantine regulations for their home countries, or if they are German citizens to refer to their federal state. For the state of Bavaria, the following rule now applies: Anyone who has been a private participant in a sporting event in a risk area (such as Budapest) must enter a 14-day quarantine on their return. This can be avoided with a negative coronavirus test result.
FC Bayern will offer all Bayern fans returning from Budapest a free coronavirus test in the Allianz Arena visitor car park. The service provider Ecolog will carry out the tests in cooperation with FC Bayern on Friday, 25 September between 7am and 8pm, as well as on Saturday, 26 September between 8am and midday (please note the revised times). The test results will be sent electronically via e-mail.
Detailed information on registration will be available on the FC Bayern website by 25 September.
FC Bayern Munich would like to point out that the Federal Foreign Office warns German citizens “against unnecessary tourist trips to the capital Budapest due to the high number of infections”. The Robert Koch Institut, which is assessing the current COVID-19 situation in Germany, has classified Budapest as a "risk area" since 16 September.
