FC Bayern and Arminia Bielefeld have met 36 times so far. The Munich side have achieved 27 wins, with four draws and five defeats. In addition, FCB have scored more than twice as many goals as Arminia (75-35).

The last five league duels between FCB and Bielefeld have gone to the record champions, with a goal difference of 8-1. Bayern's last defeat against Arminia was over 14 years ago. On 16 September 2006, the men from Munich lost 2-1 at the Bielefelder Alm, also on Matchday 4.

3. FCB outstanding against newcomers
