FC Bayern launches campaign

FC Bayern is sending out a new, strong signal for diversity. Like Real Madrid, Juventus, Manchester United and Arsenal, the treble winners are participating in the "Human Race" initiative run by partner adidas, under which designer Pharrell Williams has developed special jersey collections. FC Bayern is taking this action as the start of its own, further-reaching campaign, which is to raise awareness for tolerance and peaceful coexistence by the end of the year. With the money raised from this initiative, the German record champions will support SOS Children's Villages worldwide.

I really like this particular jersey because it conveys an important message - and because it looks cool and different."

A special logo was developed especially for the campaign, which replaces the FC Bayern emblem for the duration of the campaign on the social platforms. The FC Bayern first team plan to wear their “Human Race” kit for the first time in the final match of the year, in the second round of the DFB Cup (22/23 December).  In addition, the women's football team and all the German record champions’ junior teams will wear this special kit. The special edition jersey, which is based on the historic design from the 1991-1993 seasons, is available now in the FC Bayern Online Store, in all FC Bayern Stores and in the adidas Online Store.
