Leroy Sané crowns comeback with wonder goal

Only four minutes after coming on, Leroy Sané cut inside from the right and blasted the ball into the left corner of the net, scoring Bayern's fourth goal in the 5-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt. The 24-year-old enjoyed a very successful comeback after recovering from a knee capsule injury. "Leroy worked hard and practiced finishes with Miroslav Klose. He benefited from that today," commented FCB coach Hansi Flick: "We were all very glad he had such a good comeback."

Cut inside from the right and then euphoria - Sané sent the ball into the net with a dream goal to make it 4-0.

The winger was sidelined for almost three and a half weeks. Sané resumed team training on Thursday and returned to the Allianz Arena pitch 67 minutes into the match against Frankfurt. The summer signing had already scored for the Munich team in the only game he had played at home up until now, against FC Schalke. "Long may it continue," Flick declared.
