Technique, passing, stamina
The defenders went through a varied programme. After the warm-up there were a number of coordination exercises and acceleration runs followed by different technical drills with special exercises aimed at improving speed of execution. Then there was passing and positional work on the agenda before the two were introduced to the FCB heading practice swing ball. They finished off with a number of shuttle runs.
