Significance: In the last home game of the year, FC Bayern will host VfL Wolfsburg in the Allianz Arena next Wednesday. Before that, the Wolves meet Eintracht Frankfurt on Friday evening (20:30 CET). Wolfsburg are the only team, apart from second-placed Bayer Leverkusen, that have yet to lose in the Bundesliga this season. "I want as many points as possible in the remaining matches so we continue playing as well as we’ve done and are as united as we've been in recent weeks," said Wolfsburg coach Oliver Glasner. Frankfurt, for their part, have drawn five times in a row since losing 5-0 to FC Bayern on Matchday 5. Last weekend, Eintracht managed to defy Borussia Dortmund and earn a point.
Key fact: In the last seven meetings between Wolfsburg and Frankfurt, the home team haven't won a single game (one draw, six wins for the visitors). VfL achieved the last home win on 17 December 2016.
Borussia Dortmund - VfB Stuttgart

Significance: After two straight Bundesliga matches without a win, Borussia Dortmund have slipped to fourth place in the table. On Saturday (15:30 CET), coach Lucien Favre's team, who topped their Champions League group during the week with a 2-1 win at Zenit St. Petersburg, are aiming to get back to winning ways. "We still have four games left before Christmas and we want to win them," said BVB sporting director Michael Zorc. Opponents Stuttgart climbed to eighth place thanks to a 2-1 win at Werder Bremen last weekend.
Key fact: Borussia Dortmund have won nine of their last eleven Bundesliga matches against Stuttgart, including the last three meetings.
RB Leipzig - Werder Bremen
Kick-off: Saturday, 12.12.2020, 15:30 CET
Significance: FC Bayern and RB Leipzig drew 3-3 last weekend in a highly entertaining match, which meant the Red Bulls were overtaken by Bayer Leverkusen are now in third place. During the week, RB celebrated a 3-2 win over Manchester United in the Champions League, which earned them a place in the Round of sixteen. On Saturday, Leipzig host Werder Bremen, who haven't won in seven straight league matches and most recently even lost twice in a row. RB are the clear favourites for the match.
Key fact: RB Leipzig are the only Bundesliga club to have won all five home games this season. Will they extend their run against Bremen?
Bayer 04 Leverkusen - TSG 1899 Hoffenheim
Kick-off: Sunday, 13.12.2020, 18:00 CET
Significance: Bayer Leverkusen are now FC Bayern's closest challengers. The Werkself moved up to second place in the Bundesliga with a clear 3-0 win at Schalke last weekend. With six wins and four draws in the league, Bayer are still undefeated this season. On Thursday evening, coach Peter Bosz's team also sealed winning their group in the Europa League with a 4-0 win over Slavia Prague. Leverkusen's opponents TSG 1899 Hoffenheim also concluded the Europa League group stage in first place. On Thursday, former Bayern U23 coach Sebastian Hoeneß's team ran out 4-1 winners over KAA Gent. Last week in the league, TSG took all three points with a 3-1 over FC Augsburg after seven straight games without a win. Currently, the men from Sinsheim are in twelfth place in the Bundesliga.
Key fact: Bayer 04 Leverkusen have taken 19 out of a possible 21 points in their last seven Bundesliga matches and are the number 1 team in the league over this period.
