FC Bayern Munich has standardised its HR processes across the whole club with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, optimising them for its approximately 1,000 employees. The SAP Model Company service enables the German record champions to manage their global workforce with a cloud-based HR information system.
"With the implementation of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, our HR team can focus on what they do best - strategic, value-oriented HR work," explained FC Bayern executive vice-chairman Jan-Christian Dreesen. "Beforehand, we worked with more time-consuming processes, and through the implementation, we were not only able to digitalise our processes, but also redefine them. With a more efficient environment, our HR team is once again much more able to place the employee at the forefront."
"We are delighted to start another successful chapter in the long-standing partnership between FC Bayern and SAP with the implementation of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central," said FC Bayern executive board member Andreas Jung.
"As an official Platinum Partner, SAP has been working with FC Bayern since 2014 to develop innovative solutions that help the club achieve its sporting and business goals. With the introduction of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, we have extended this partnership to the area of Human Experience Management. This enables FC Bayern to accelerate its growth and remain competitive at all times - both on and off the pitch," affirmed Thomas Saueressig, who as a member of the SAP SE Executive Board, is responsible for SAP Product Engineering.
