Accolades galore: Robert Lewandowski added four trophies to his collection of silverware. After Bayern's 1-0 victory in the final, the Pole was named Player of the Tournament, finishing ahead of Tigres' André-Pierre Gignac and Joshua Kimmich. Besides, he was named Man of the Match after both games. "It's a big story, not only for FC Bayern but for all of football," the 32-year-old commented after the sixth title in 12 months.

Involved in all goals
In the semi-final against Al Ahly, Lewandowski scored a brace to give Bayern a 2-0 win. The World Footballer of the Year was also involved in the only goal in the final. His header was saved by Tigres keeper Nahuel Guzmán, but the ball rebounded to Benjamin Pavard, who scored to make it 1-0. The moment once again highlighted the enormous value Lewandowski gives to the team and also underpinned his deserved Player of the Tournament award.
