Which games to watch out for on Matchday 21

By the time Bayern go into action on Matchday 21, their rivals will already have their feet up, because the newly-crowned club world champions don't actually play Arminia Bielefeld at the Allianz Arena till Monday evening. Check out here which other games are important for FC Bayern on this particular matchday!

RB Leipzig – FC Augsburg

Kick-off: Friday, 12.02.2021, 20:30 CET

Significance: FCB's closest pursuers RB Leipzig will kick-off Matchday 21 on Friday evening, when they take on FC Augsburg at home. A win will see the Saxons reduce the gap to Bayern to four points, putting pressure on the league leaders. The Bulls' current form is also good - they've won three of their last four league games.

Key fact: Leipzig coach Julian Nagelsmann was born near Augsburg and has also worked at FCA. As a coach, he's never lost against the Bavarians.

Leipzig have conceded the fewest goals in the league (17) and kept a clean sheet most often (ten times).

Eintracht Frankfurt – 1. FC Köln

Kick-off: Sunday, 14.02.2021, 15:30 CET

Significance: Just five days after playing Bielefeld, Bayern will take on Eintracht Frankfurt, and the Hessians are currently the form team of the moment. Adi Hütter's side are unbeaten in nine Bundesliga games (seven wins, two draws) and have climbed up to fourth place as a result. Their aim now is to continue this run at home against 14th-placed Köln, so they can approach next week's clash with FCB full of confidence.

Key fact: Eintracht have taken the lead in their last 13 games (club record in the Bundesliga). They managed to see out seven of them, drew another five and suffered just the one defeat.
